Anti-Wrinkle Treatment with Neuromodulator-Botox/Nuceiva/Xeomin

Please be advised that if you have any of the following you will not be considered a candidate for the treatment. Conditions include, Myasthenia Graves, allergy to Botulinum Toxin, neuromuscular disorders, pregnant or breastfeeding, allergy to human albumin, anaphylactic allergy to eggs.
Clients may notice results as soon as 5 - 7 days. The results of your treatment can take up to 14 days to take full effects. Please wait the full 14 days before assessing the anticipated relaxation of the muscles and lines on your face.

Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours prior to treatment, as this may thin your blood and increase the risk of bruising.
Avoid anti-inflammatory or blood thinning medications if possible for a few days prior to treatment as these can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after injections. If treatment cannot be stopped for medical results, please reach out directly to discuss with our provider.
Schedule your appointment at least 2 weeks prior to a special event such as wedding or vacation to allow full results to be seen, adjustments to be made if necessary and preventing unwanted bruising or swelling during such event.
Be sure to have a good breakfast, including food and drink prior to your procedure. This will decrease the chances of lightheadedness during your treatment.

Avoid touching and rubbing the treatment area for 24 hours
Avoid bending and lying down for 4 hours
Avoid any facial treatments for the next 14 days (such as wax and microblading)
Avoid alcohol, anti-inflammatories like Advil and blood-thinners the night of and potentially for a few days if bruising are present.
Avoid excessive exercises, sweating, hot tubs and saunas for 24 hours.
Headaches can happen and can be treated with Tylenol
No make up on the injected area(s) for the rest of the day
Dermal Filler
-
Hyaluronic acid fillers cannot be performed if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, active skin infection and/or inflammatory skin condition over the treatment area, certain autoimmune conditions, allergies to eggs or any other components of the filler. If any questions about the above please don’t hesitate to consult the treatment provider.
If taking prescription blood thinning mediations, please discuss with the treating physician if it is safe to stop for 7 - 10 days prior to and 2 days following. If unable, please reach out to our clinic to discuss.
Please note flying is not permitted until 2 weeks post treatment

Avoid Fish oil, Gingko Biloba, St. John’s Wort, high dose Vitamin E, and anti-inflammatory medications (NSAIDS) like Advil, Aleve, Motrin or Aspirin for 7 days prior to treatment, unless medically necessary. If unsure whether it is safe to stop regularly taken medications, talk to your treatment provider.
Consider taking Tylenol one hour before treatment for any anticipated procedural discomfort
If you have any history of Herpes Simplex (cold sores) on your face, typically an anti-viral medication will be prescribed for after the treatment to prevent an outbreak.
Avoid alcohol consumptions for 24 hours prior to treatment

Avoid straws, kissing or massaging the treatment area for 24 hours
Bruising, tenderness and swelling is expected. Apply a cold compress as needed or use arnica cream for swelling
Avoid facials, lasers and/or microdermabrasion treatments for 14 days post
Stay hydrated by drinking lots of water
Avoid alcohol as it can increase and worsen bruising and swelling
Avoid excessive exercises, sweating, hot tubs and saunas for the next 24 - 72 hours
Avoid tanning beds or intense sun exposure for 72 hours, make sure to wear SPF 30
Take Tylenol for mild pain, avoid NSAIDs like Advil/Aspirin
Avoid applying lipstick or make up for 4-6 hours after. Use a new lipstick or balm after.
Lumps and asymmetry may be seen, wait the full 2 weeks for swelling and bruising to subside
If you develop symptoms of a vascular occlusion such as severe or dull pain around the injection site. Any vision disruptions or dark discolouration of the skin with prolonged blanching or mottling of the skin post treatment, please contact us for immediate assessment.
Lipolysis (Fat Dissolving Injections)

Lipolysis injections are used to break down stubborn fat deposits in localized areas such as under the chin, abdomen, thighs, or flanks. The body then metabolizes and eliminates the fat through natural processes.

Avoid blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) and supplements like fish oil and vitamin E for at least 48–72 hours prior.
No alcohol for 24 hours before the procedure to minimize bruising.
Stay hydrated and avoid caffeine on the day of your treatment.

Swelling, redness, and bruising are common and can last up to 14 days.
Do not rub or manipulate the treated area for 48 hours.
Apply a cold compress in short intervals to reduce discomfort, Tylenol can be used as well.
Sleep with your head elevated if injections were done in the chin area. Avoid sleeping on treated area for 24 hours.
Avoid saunas, hot baths, extreme hear, steam rooms and strenuous exercise for 72 hours.
Do not massage or press the treated area for the first 2 weeks post treatment.
Be aware of inflammatory response such as heat and redness.
No laser, chemical peels, microneedling, RF or microdermabrasion for 2 weeks post
Results develop over several weeks, and a series of treatments may be required and can be repeated every 4 weeks.
Microneedling

Results can be seen as soon as after your first session, though lasting and more significant results will become visible after 3-6 treatments (spaced 3-6 weeks apart).
The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments especially when combined with the recommended post-treatment care.

Microneedling is not recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have a history of skin cancer or keloid scarring.
You cannot undergo a microneedling treatment while on Accutane and you must have been off this medication for 6 months prior.
You cannot have a fresh tan within the past 2 weeks prior to your microneedling session.
If you have a history of cold sores, we recommend pre-treating with an antiviral medication.
We recommend stopping topical retinol 5-7 prior to your treatment, as well as medications that thin the blood, such as ibuprofen, unless your doctor recommends that you remain on the medication for medical reasons.

Clean glasses frames and anything that comes into direct contact with treatment area

Avoid hot tubs, steam rooms and saunas for 72 hours
Avoid retinol for 72 hours and only use recommended skin care products
Avoid blood thinning medications like Advil/Aspirin, Tylenol is okay
Avoid exfoliation and picking at scabs. Allow skin to dry and flake off naturally.
Platelet-Rick Plasma (PRP)

PRP therapy uses your own blood, processed to isolate growth factor-rich plasma, which is then reinjected or microneedled into the skin or scalp.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and smoking 48 hours prior.
Discontinue NSAIDs and blood thinners 3–5 days beforehand.
Eat a light, nutritious meal and hydrate well.
Arrive with a clean head if treatment is for hair restoration

Some redness, swelling, or bruising may occur, especially at injection sites.
Avoid washing or applying anything to the area for 8–12 hours.
Change your pillow case and sleep on a clean pillow the night of the treatment
No heavy workouts, sun exposure, or saunas for 48 hours.
Results build over time; 3–4 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart are often recommended.
Continue a healthy lifestyle to support collagen regeneration.
Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy involves microinjections of a custom blend of vitamins, enzymes, and other active ingredients into the middle layer of the skin

Avoid anti-inflammatory meds, blood thinners, and alcohol 2–3 days prior.
Stay hydrated and eat a small meal before the session.
No tanning or sun exposure before treatment.

Redness, tenderness, and small bumps at the injection site are common and should subside within 24–48 hours.
Avoid scratching or touching the area.
Do not apply makeup or skincare for 12–24 hours.
Avoid hot showers, swimming, saunas, and workouts for 48 hours.
Chemical Peels

Promotes cell turnover and can address pigmentation, acne, fine lines, and dullness.

Discontinue exfoliants, retinoids, and harsh treatments 5–7 days before.
Avoid any laser/IPL for a week pre treatment
Do not wax, shave, or use depilatory creams 48 hours before.
Avoid prolonged sun exposure, always wear SPF
Pre condition may be required for specific type of peels.

Expect redness, tightness, dryness, and visible peeling for up to a week (depending on peel depth).
Avoid touching the treatment area for 24 hours post treatment
Sleep face up to avoid irritating the skin
Avoid facials, lasers, and microdermabrasion for 2 weeks post
Avoid direct sunlight and wear SPF 30 for 4 weeks post treatments
Avoid vigorous exercise, hot tubs and saunas for 72 hours
Avoid retinol & other harsh treatments for 72 hours
Apply gentle moisturizer to keep skin hydrated
Avoid exfoliation and picking at skin. Allow skin to dry and flake off naturally
Algae Peels

Algae peels (like Green Peel or herbal peels) use marine and botanical extracts to deeply exfoliate while delivering nutrients to the skin. They're suitable for sensitive skin and help improve texture, acne, and hyperpigmentation.

Avoid active ingredients (retinoids, acids) 3–5 days before.
Do not tan or wax treated areas.
Spot test may be required if there is a potential allergy to shellfish or iodine. This should be performed 48 - 72 hours prior.

Avoid direct Sun exposure for at least 3 weeks
Avoid working out or activities that cause excessive sweating, especially during the peeling process
Avoid bathing/soaking and washing up in hot water
No hard scrubbing or exfoliation for 3 weeks
Do not use Active Ingredients in skin regime for 3-5 days
Always wash hands before touching face
Face Peel: Change pillow cases / Body Peel: wear loose clothing
Always apply SPF 30-50
Do not pick or physically remove peeling skin

DAY SPECIFIC POST CARE
DAY 1 (Treatment Day): May experience intense redness, heat sensation, tenderness and sensitivity
After Care: Do not wash face or body area that was treated for at least 12h
DAY 2: May still experience redness, sensitivity and tenderness. Clients who have acne prone skin my experience :purging.
After Care: Wash face in the morning with water and a gentle face cleanser. Apply Ointment and SPF. At night, only cleanse and apply ointment
DAYS 3-5: Clients will experience tightness and dryness. Clients will start to peel
After Care: Wash face with water and gentle cleanser. Apply SPF only. Keep treated area as dry as possible to promote the peel. DO NOT PEEL SKIN
DAY 7-10: Majority of Peeling is completed. New and rejuvenated skin is starting to formulate and reveal
Post Peel: Continue to wash face with water and gentle cleanser.
Continue to apply SPF everyday and can start to apply moisturizer
Vitamin Injections/Infusions

These treatments deliver high-quality vitamins and minerals directly into the bloodstream (IV) or muscle (IM), allowing for faster absorption and better efficacy.

Eat a light meal and drink water prior to treatment.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before.
Dress comfortably and wear loose sleeves for easy access.
Inform your provider of any allergies or health concerns.

Minor soreness or bruising at the injection site may occur.
Continue hydrating after treatment.
Monitor for any unusual reactions and report to your provider.
Effects vary; some clients feel immediate results, while others notice changes over time and with continued treatments
Bela MD Hydrating Facial

This medical-grade facial combines exfoliation, deep hydration, antioxidant infusion, and microcurrent technology to revitalize and protect the skin. Suitable for all skin types.

Avoid Accutane or other prescription acne medications for 6 months
Stop using topical retinol for 3-5 days prior.
Avoid having a fresh tan within the 14 days prior. Wear SPF30 sunscreen.
Wait two weeks after having injectables such as neurotoxin (E.g. Botox) or dermal filler
If you have a history of herpes, take an anti-viral medication in advance may be helpful in preventing a breakout

Avoid skin irritants like retinol for 1 week
Don't submerge in chlorinated water for 3-5 days
Don't pick peeling skin. Peeling in normal in the initial days post treatment.
Acne may worsen temporarily but will improve with additional sessions.
Dermaplaning

Stop using retinol and exfoliants 3–5 days before.
Do not wax or laser the face 1 week prior.
Come with clean, product-free skin.

Redness or tightness may occur temporarily.
Avoid active ingredients, exfoliants, and heavy makeup for 24–48 hours.
Moisturize generously and use SPF daily.
Avoid heat, steam, and intense exercise for 24 hours.
